Privacy Policy

How ABCweb.ing collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use this website or contact us.

Effective date: 6 October 2026

1. Who we are

ABCweb.ing is the data controller for personal information processed through this website and in connection with enquiries sent to us.

Contact: info@abcweb.ing

This policy is intended to explain how we handle personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable UK data protection law.

2. Personal data we collect

When you contact us through the website, we may collect:

  • Your name.
  • Your email address.
  • The service or package you are interested in.
  • The contents of your message and any information you choose to include in it.

We ask you not to send sensitive personal information through the general contact form unless it is genuinely necessary for your enquiry.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information only where there is a lawful basis to do so, including to:

  • Respond to enquiries and requests for information.
  • Discuss, prepare or manage potential website and digital projects.
  • Provide services and communicate with clients where a contract exists.
  • Maintain the security and proper operation of the website and our business systems.
  • Meet legal, regulatory or accounting obligations where applicable.

Lawful basis

Depending on the circumstances, the lawful basis may be that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, necessary to perform a contract, or necessary for our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and operating our services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

4. Contact form and FormSubmit

Our contact form is submitted to FormSubmit.co, a third-party form delivery service. The information entered into the form is transmitted to that service so that the submission can be delivered to our designated email address.

FormSubmit states that it processes form information for managing the platform and fulfilling the requested service, and its current documentation states that form submissions are retained for 30 days for its submission archive.

You can review FormSubmit's own privacy information here: FormSubmit Privacy Policy.

5. Who we share personal data with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with service providers where this is necessary to operate our website or deliver our services, including the form delivery provider described above.

We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, systems, users or property.

6. International processing

Some service providers we use may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will rely on an applicable adequacy mechanism or other lawful transfer safeguard.

Where relevant, the third-party provider's own privacy information will give further details about its processing and international arrangements.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including handling an enquiry, managing an ongoing client relationship, resolving disputes, protecting legal rights, and meeting legal or accounting obligations.

Where we do not need to keep information any longer, we will delete it or securely dispose of it. Third-party services may apply their own retention periods; for example, FormSubmit currently states that submissions in its archive are retained for 30 days.

8. Your data protection rights

Subject to the conditions and exemptions that apply under UK data protection law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
  • Object to processing where the law gives you that right.
  • Request data portability where the legal requirements are met.

To exercise a right, contact us at info@abcweb.ing. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern about how we use your personal data so that we can try to resolve it.

You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), if you believe your personal data has been handled unlawfully.

10. Cookies and third-party resources

ABCweb.ing is not currently designed around advertising or tracking cookies. Some third-party services or resources used by the website may process limited technical information, such as an IP address, as part of delivering their content or functionality.

Your browser may also store standard technical data such as cached files. You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Automated decision-making

We do not use personal information submitted through the website for solely automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology or legal obligations. The latest version will be published on this page with the relevant effective date.
